Any excuse to reblog a Backstreet Boys song is a good excuse.
reblogging for span and because i am disgusted that there are all these people that were 2-4 in 1999 reblogging this.
GET OFF MY INTERNET LAWN
inorite. I WAS 17 IN 1999. I WAS 12 WHEN THE FIRST BACKSTREET BOYS SONG DEBUTED. I WAS THEIR TARGET AUDIENCE. GTFO. (not really, all the bsb love in the world for everyone ♥)
Effing hell, I’m old enough to be the mom of most of these people. And I would have been in my mid-20s when I had these babies.
GOD, SO AM I. Not in my mid-20s for all of them, but it is well within the realm of possibility that, had things gone slightly differently, Grant and I could have had kids that age.
Now, if you want a song that was on the air when I was four…
Backstreet Boys, eat your heart out.
(Apologies to anyone who feels even older now. >_>;;)
My actual god, I always forget that everyone on tumblr is six years old. I feel vaguely unclean whenever I am reminded.
Ugh. And I thought I felt pervy before.
I graduated that year. I listened to Édith Piaf obsessively and teased my brother relentlessly for liking boy bands. He teases me now for everything. It sort of evens out.
I was 28 in 1999.
Now over to my mom (yes, my mom is on Tumblr) to make us ALL feel really young.
